This is Claudine, the little three year old who is blind and very under developed. She loves being tickled and swung in the air. She has the cutest smile, and I love it when she reaches out to me when she hears my voice!

Nadine, I just got caught up with your blog entries. We were in Istanbul for almost 2 weeks right after school ended and I went to Detroit for a few days, so I fell behind. WOW! We're coming to Rwanda on July 6! Mary has plans for us to come to see you and I can hardly wait, especially after reading your blog. I hope she has made sure we won't miss you. When are you going to Burundi? She's probably told you that she has gone to Burundi regularly. Is there anything we can bring for the kids at the orphanage? Or for you? A new pair of jeans? We're bringing new jeans for Mary - I have to go to GAP to buy some so email me with size and type if you want me to get you a pair too - or anything else or things for the kids that you might want us to bring - we have some room.
